Just as they advanced, Nutan intervened and froze them in their tracks. Anirudh looked on in shock when he realised Nutan had arrived. Parashar berated Nutan for siding with Anirudh, mocking her city roots. The local crowd, whipped up by Kanka, was ready to turn violent. Parashar demanded Anirudh leave the village, though allowed his team to stay behind. Dheeraj refused to move, so Anirudh sent them away. Nutan then pulled Anirudh aside under the guise of wanting to talk. Parashar left them alone, yet kept his eye on them.
Elsewhere the story shifted to the urban track. Mimi met up with Anirban at a café, where he confessed his continuing love for her.
